e mountains； Cover us； and to the hills； Fall on us。
10：9以色列阿，你从基比亚的日子以来，时常犯罪。你们的先人曾站在那里，现今住基比亚的人以为攻击罪孽之辈的战事临不到自己。
O Israel； thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah： there they stood： the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them。
10：10我必随意惩罚他们。他们为两样的罪所缠，列邦的民必聚集攻击他们。
It is in my desire that I should chastise them； and the people shall be gathered against them； when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows。
10：11以法莲是驯良的母牛犊，喜爱踹谷，我却将轭加在它肥美的颈项上，我要使以法莲拉套（或作被骑）。犹大必耕田，雅各必耙地。
And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught； and loveth to tread out the corn； but I passed over upon her fair neck： I will make Ephraim to ride； Judah shall plow； and Jacob shall break his clods。
10：12你们要为自己栽种公义，就能收割慈爱。现今正是寻求耶和华的时候，你们要开垦荒地，等他临到，使公义如雨降在你们身上。
Sow to yourselves in righteousness； reap in mercy； break up your fallow ground： for it is time to seek the LORD； till he e and rain righteousness upon you。
10：13你们耕种的是奸恶，收割的是罪孽，吃的是谎话的果子。因你倚靠自己的行为，仰赖勇士众多。
Ye have plowed wickedness； ye have reaped iniquity； ye have eaten the fruit of lies： because thou didst trust in thy way； in the multitude of thy mighty men。
10：14所以在这民中必有哄囔之声，你一切的保障必被拆毁，就如沙勒幔在争战的日子拆毁伯亚比勒，将其中的母子一同摔死。
Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy people； and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled； as Shalman spoiled Betharbel in the day of battle： the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children。
10：15因他们的大恶，伯特利必使你们遭遇如此。到了黎明，以色列的王必全然灭绝。
So shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness： in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off。

11：1以色列年幼的时候，我爱他，就从埃及少出我的儿子来。
When Israel was a child； then I loved him； and called my son out of Egypt。
11：2先知越发招呼他们，他们越发走开，向诸巴力献祭，给雕刻的偶像烧香。
As they called them； so they went from them： they sacrificed unto Baalim； and burned incense to graven images。
11：3我原教导以法莲行走，用膀臂抱着他们，他们却不知道是我医治他们。
I taught Ephraim also to go； taking them by their arms； but they knew not that I healed them。
11：4我用慈绳（慈原文是人的）爱索牵引他们，我待他们如人放松牛的两腮夹板，把粮食放在他们面前。
I drew them with cords of a man； with bands of love： and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws； and I laid meat unto them。
11：5他们必不归回埃及地，亚述人却要作他们的王，因他们不肯归向我。
He shall not return into the land of Egypt； but the Assyrian shall be his king； because they refused to return。
11：6刀剑必临到他们的城邑，毁坏门闩，把人吞灭，都因他们随从自己的计谋。
And the sword shall abide on his cities； and shall consume his branches； and devour them； because of their own counsels。
11：7我的民偏要背道离开我，众先知虽然招呼他们归向至上的主，却无人尊崇主。
And my people are bent to backsliding from me： though they called them to the most High； none at all would exalt him。
11：8以法莲哪，我怎能舍弃你，以色列阿，我怎能弃绝你，我怎能使你如押玛，怎能使你如洗扁，我回心转意，我的怜爱大大发动。
How shall I give thee up； Ephraim？ how shall I deliver thee； Israel？ how shall I make thee as Admah？ how shall I set thee as Zeboim？ mine heart is turned within me； my repentings are kindled together。
11：9我必不发猛烈的怒气，也不再毁灭以法莲，因我是神，并非世人，是你们中间的圣者，我必不在怒中临到你们。
I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger； I will not return to destroy Ephraim： for I am God； and not man； the Holy One in the midst of thee： and I will not enter into the city。
11：10耶和华必如狮子吼叫，子民必跟随他。他一吼叫，他们就从西方急速而来。
They shall walk after the LORD： he shall roar like a lion： when he shall roar； then the children shall tremble from the west。
11：11他们必如雀鸟从埃及急速而来，又如鸽子从亚述地来到，我必使他们住自己的房屋。这是耶和华说的。
They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt； and as a dove out of the land of Assyria： and I will place them in their houses； saith the LORD。
11：12以法莲用谎话，以色列家用诡计围绕我，犹大却靠神掌权，向圣者有忠心。（或作犹大向神，向诚实的圣者犹疑不定）。
Ephraim passeth me about with lies； and the house of Israel with deceit： but Judah yet ruleth with God； and is faithful with the saints。

12：1以法莲吃风，且追赶东风。时常增添虚谎和强暴。与亚述立约，把油送到埃及。
Ephraim feedeth on wind； and followeth after the east wind： he daily increaseth lies and desolation； and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians； and oil is carried into Egypt。
12：2耶和华与犹大争辩，必照雅各所行的惩罚他，按他所做的报应他。
The LORD hath also a controversy with Judah； and will punish Jacob according to his ways； according to his doings will he repense him。
12：3他在腹中抓住哥哥的脚跟，壮年的时候与神较力。
He took his brother by the heel in the womb； and by his strength he had power with God：
12：4与天使较力，并且得胜，哭泣恳求，在伯特利遇见耶和华。
Yea； he had power over the angel； and prevailed： he wept； and made supplication unto him： he found him in Bethel； and there he spake with us；
12：5耶和华万军之神在那里晓谕我们以色列人，耶和华是他可记念的名。
Even the LORD God of hosts； the LORD is his memorial。
12：6所以你当归向你的神，谨守仁爱，公平，常常等候你的神。
Therefore turn thou to thy God： keep mercy and judgment； and wait on thy God continually。
12：7以法莲是商人，手里有诡诈的天平，爱行欺骗。
He is a merchant； the balances of deceit are in his hand： he loveth to oppress。
12：8以法莲说，我果然成了富足，得了财宝，我所劳碌得来的，人必不见有什么不义，可算为罪的。
And Ephraim said； Yet I am bee rich； I have found me out substance： in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin。
12：9自从你出埃及地以来，我就是耶和华你的神，我必使你再住帐棚，如在大会的日子一样。
