And the time that David dwelt in the country of the Philistines was a full year and four months。
27：8大卫和跟随他的人上去，侵夺基述人，基色人，亚玛力人之地。这几族历来住在那地，从书珥直到埃及。
And David and his men went up； and invaded the Geshurites； and the Gezrites； and the Amalekites： for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land； as thou goest to Shur； even unto the land of Egypt。
27：9大卫击杀那地的人，无论男女都没有留下一个，又夺获牛，羊，骆驼，驴，并衣服，回来见亚吉。
And David smote the land； and left neither man nor woman alive； and took away the sheep； and the oxen； and the asses； and the camels； and the apparel； and returned； and came to Achish。
27：10亚吉说，你们今日侵夺了什么地方呢。大卫说，侵夺了犹大的南方，耶拉篾的南方，基尼的南方。
And Achish said； Whither have ye made a road to day？ And David said； Against the south of Judah； and against the south of the Jerahmeelites； and against the south of the Kenites。
27：11无论男女，大卫没有留下一个带到迦特来。他说，恐怕他们将我们的事告诉人，说大卫住在非利士地的时候常常这样行。
And David saved neither man nor woman alive； to bring tidings to Gath； saying； Lest they should tell on us； saying； So did David； and so will be his manner all the while he dwelleth in the country of the Philistines。
27：12亚吉信了大卫，心里说，大卫使本族以色列人憎恶他，所以他必永远作我的仆人了。
And Achish believed David； saying； He hath made his people Israel utterly to abhor him； therefore he shall be my servant for ever。

28：1那时，非利士人聚集军旅，要与以色列人打仗。亚吉对大卫说，你当知道，你和跟随你的人都要随我出战。
And it came to pass in those days； that the Philistines gathered their armies together for warfare； to fight with Israel。 And Achish said unto David； Know thou assuredly； that thou shalt go out with me to battle； thou and thy men。
28：2大卫对亚吉说，仆人所能作的事，王必知道。亚吉对大卫说，这样，我立你永远作我的护卫长。
And David said to Achish； Surely thou shalt know what thy servant can do。 And Achish said to David； Therefore will I make thee keeper of mine head for ever。
28：3那时撒母耳已经死了，以色列众人为他哀哭，葬他在拉玛，就是在他本城里。扫罗曾在国内不容有交鬼的和行巫术的人。
Now Samuel was dead； and all Israel had lamented him； and buried him in Ramah； even in his own city。 And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits； and the wizards； out of the land。
28：4非利士人聚集，来到书念安营。扫罗聚集以色列众人在基利波安营。
And the Philistines gathered themselves together； and came and pitched in Shunem： and Saul gathered all Israel together； and they pitched in Gilboa。
28：5扫罗看见非利士的军旅就惧怕，心中发颤。
And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines； he was afraid； and his heart greatly trembled。
28：6扫罗求问耶和华，耶和华却不藉梦，或乌陵，或先知回答他。
And when Saul enquired of the LORD； the LORD answered him not； neither by dreams； nor by Urim； nor by prophets。
28：7扫罗吩咐臣仆说，当为我找一个交鬼的妇人，我好去问她。臣仆说，在隐多珥有一个交鬼的妇人。
Then said Saul unto his servants； Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit； that I may go to her； and enquire of her。 And his servants said to him； Behold； there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor。
28：8于是扫罗改了装，穿上别的衣服，带着两个人，夜里去见那妇人。扫罗说，求你用交鬼的法术，将我所告诉你的死人，为我招上来。
And Saul disguised himself； and put on other raiment； and he went； and two men with him； and they came to the woman by night： and he said； I pray thee； divine unto me by the familiar spirit； and bring me him up； whom I shall name unto thee。
28：9妇人对他说，你知道扫罗从国中剪除交鬼的和行巫术的。你为何陷害我的性命，使我死呢。
And the woman said unto him； Behold； thou knowest what Saul hath done； how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits； and the wizards； out of the land： wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life； to cause me to die？
28：10扫罗向妇人指着耶和华起誓说，我指着永生的耶和华起誓，你必不因这事受刑。
And Saul sware to her by the LORD； saying； As the LORD liveth； there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing。
28：11妇人说，我为你招谁上来呢。回答说，为我招撒母耳上来。
Then said the woman； Whom shall I bring up unto thee？ And he said； Bring me up Samuel。
28：12妇人看见撒母耳，就大声呼叫，对扫罗说，你是扫罗，为什么欺哄我呢。
And when the woman saw Samuel； she cried with a loud voice： and the woman spake to Saul； saying； Why hast thou deceived me？ for thou art Saul。
28：13王对妇人说，不要惧怕，你看见了什么呢。妇人对扫罗说，我看见有神从地里上来。
And the king said unto her； Be not afraid： for what sawest thou？ And the woman said unto Saul； I saw gods ascending out of the earth。
28：14扫罗说，他是怎样的形状。妇人说，有一个老人上来，身穿长衣。扫罗知道是撒母耳，就屈身，脸伏于地下拜。
And he said unto her； What form is he of？ And she said； An old man eth up； and he is covered with a mantle。 And Saul perceived that it was Samuel； and he stooped with his face to the ground； and bowed himself。
28：15撒母耳对扫罗说，你为什么搅扰我，招我上来呢。扫罗回答说，我甚窘急。因为非利士人攻击我，神也离开我，不再藉先知或梦回答我。因此请你上来，好指示我应当怎样行。
And Samuel said to Saul； Why hast thou disquieted me； to bring me up？ And Saul answered； I am sore distressed； for the Philistines make war against me； and God is departed from me； and answereth me no more； neither by prophets； nor by dreams： therefore I have called thee； that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do。
28：16撒母耳说，耶和华已经离开你，且与你为敌，你何必问我呢。
Then said Samuel； Wherefore then dost thou ask of me； seeing the LORD is departed from thee； and is bee thine enemy？
28：17耶和华照他藉我说的话，已经从你手里夺去国权，赐与别人，就是大卫。
And the LORD hath done to him； as he spake by me： for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand； and given it to thy neighbour； even to David：
28：18因你没有听从耶和华的命令。他恼怒亚玛力人，你没有灭绝他们，所以今日耶和华向你这样行，
Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD； nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek； therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day。
28：19并且耶和华必将你和以色列人交在�
