他要按手在燔祭牲的头上，燔祭便蒙悦纳，为他赎罪（利1：4）。 知道你们得赎、脱去你们祖宗所传流虚妄的行为，不是凭着能坏的金银等物，乃是凭着基督的宝血，如同无瑕疵、无玷污的羔羊之血（彼前l：18，19）。他被挂在木头上，亲身担当了我们的罪（彼前2：24）。 神的恩典，是他在爱子里所赐给我们的（弗1：6）。
你们就象活石，被建造成为灵宫，作圣洁的祭司，藉着耶稣基督奉献 神所悦纳的灵祭（彼前2：5）。弟兄们，我以 神的慈悲劝你们，将身体献上，当作活祭，是圣洁的，是 神所喜悦的，你们如此事奉，乃是理所当然的（罗工2：1）。

凡事受过试探与我们一样，只是没有犯罪（来4：15）。 于是，女人见那棵树的果子好做食物（肉体的情欲），也悦人眼目（眼目的情欲），且是可喜爱的，能使人有智慧（今生的骄傲），就摘下果子来吃了；又给她丈夫，她丈夫也吃了（创3：6）。 那试探人的进前来，对他说：你若是 神的儿子，可以吩咐这些石头变成食物（肉体的情欲）。耶稣却回答说：人活着，不是单靠食物，乃是靠 神口里所出的一切话。魔鬼将世上的万国与万国的荣华都指给他看（眼目的情欲和今生的骄傲）。耶稣说：撒但退去吧（太4：3，4，8，10）！ 他自己既然被试探而受苦，就能搭救被试探的人（来2：18）。忍受试探的人是有福的（雅1：12）。 In all points tempted like as we are； yet without sin。 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food （the lu
