我们既然属乎白昼，就应当谨守，把信和爱当作护心镜遮胸，把得救的盼望当作头盔戴上（帖前5：8）。 要约束你们的心，谨慎自守，专心盼望耶稣基督显现的时候所带来给你们的恩（彼前1：13）。所以要站稳了，用真理当作带子束腰，用公义当作护心镜遮胸，此外又拿着信德当作藤牌，可以灭尽那恶者一切的火箭。并戴上救恩的头盔，拿着圣灵的宝剑，就是 神的道（弗6：14，16，17）。 他已经吞灭死亡直到永远。主耶和华必擦去各人脸上的眼泪，又除掉普天下他百姓的羞辱，因为这是耶和华说的。到那日，人必说：看哪，这是我们的 神，我们素来等候他，他必拯救我们。这是耶和华，我们素来等候他，我们必因他的救恩欢喜快乐（赛25：8，9）。 信就是所望之事的实底，是未见之事的确据（来11：1）。 Let us； who are of the day； be sober； putting on the breastplate of faith and love； and for an helmet； the hope of salvation。

招聚我的圣民到我这里来，就是那些用祭物与我立约的人（诗50：5）。
基督既然一次被献，担当了多人的罪，将来要向那等候他的人第二次显现，并与罪无关，乃是为拯救他们（来9：28）。他作了新约的中保，既然受死赎了人的罪过，便叫蒙召之人得着所应许永远的产业（来9：15）。父啊，我在哪里，愿你所赐给我的人也同我在那里（约17：24）。他要差遣天使，把他的选民从四方、从地极直到天边，都招聚了来（可13：27）。你被赶散的人，就是在天涯的，耶和华你的 神也必从那里将你招聚回来（申30：4）。那在基督里死了的人必先复活。以后我们这活着还存留的人必和他们一同被提到云里，在空中与
主相遇。这样，我们就要和主永远同在（帖前4：16，17）�
