And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves： for charity shall cover the multitude of sins。
4：9你们要互相款待，不发怨言。
Use hospitality one to another without grudging。
4：10各人要照所得的恩赐彼此服事，作神百般恩赐的好管家。
As every man hath received the gift； even so minister the same one to another； as good stewards of the manifold grace of God。
4：11若有讲道的，要按着神的圣言讲。若有服事人的，要按着神所赐的力量服事。叫神在凡事上因耶稣基督得荣耀。原来荣耀权能都是他的，直到永永远远。阿们。
If any man speak； let him speak as the oracles of God； if any man minister； let him do it as of the ability which God giveth： that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ； to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever。 Amen。
4：12亲爱的弟兄阿，有火炼的试验临到你们，不要以为奇怪，（似乎是遭遇非常的事）
Beloved； think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you； as though some strange thing happened unto you：
4：13倒要欢喜。因为你们是与基督一同受苦，使你们在他荣耀显现的时候，也可以欢喜快乐。
But rejoice； inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings； that； when his glory shall be revealed； ye may be glad also with exceeding joy。
4：14你们若为基督的名受辱骂，便是有福的。因为神荣耀的灵，常住在你们身上。
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ； happy are ye； for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you： on their part he is evil spoken of； but on your part he is glorified。
4：15你们中间却不可有人，因为杀人，偷窃，作恶，好管闲事而受苦。
But let none of you suffer as a murderer； or as a thief； or as an evildoer； or as a busybody in other men's matters。
4：16若为作基督徒受苦，却不要羞耻。倒要因这名归荣耀给神。
Yet if any man suffer as a Christian； let him not be ashamed； but let him glorify God on this behalf。
4：17因为时候到了，审判要从神的家起首。若是先从我们起首，那不信从神福音的人，将有何等的结局呢。
For the time is e that judgment must begin at the house of God： and if it first begin at us； what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God？
4：18若是义人仅仅得救，那不虔敬和犯罪的人，将有何地可站呢。
And if the righteous scarcely be saved； where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear？
4：19所以那照神旨意受苦的人，要一心为善，将自己灵魂交与那信实的造化之主。
Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God mit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing； as unto a faithful Creator。

5：1我这作长老，作基督受苦的见证，同享后来所要显现之荣耀的，劝你们中间与我同作长老的人。
The elders which are among you I exhort； who am also an elder； and a witness of the sufferings of Christ； and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed：
5：2务要牧养在你们中间神的群羊，按着神旨意照管他们。不是出于勉强，乃是出于甘心。也不是因为贪财，乃是出于乐意。
Feed the flock of God which is among you； taking the oversight thereof； not by constraint； but willingly； not for filthy lucre； but of a ready mind；
5：3也不是辖制所托付你们的，乃是作群羊的榜样。
Neither as being lords over God's heritage； but being ensamples to the flock。
5：4到了牧长显现的时候，你们必得那永不衰残的荣耀冠冕。
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear； ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away。
5：5你们年幼的，也要顺服年长的。就是你们众人，也都要以谦卑束腰，彼此顺服。因为神阻挡骄傲的人，赐恩给谦卑的人。
Likewise； ye younger； submit yourselves unto the elder。 Yea； all of you be subject one to another； and be clothed with humility： for God resisteth the proud； and giveth grace to the humble。
5：6所以你们要自卑，服在神大能的手下，到了时候他必叫你们升高。
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God； that he may exalt you in due time：
5：7你们要将一切的忧虑卸给神，因为他顾念你们。
Casting all your care upon him； for he careth for you。
5：8务要谨守，儆醒。因为你们的仇敌魔鬼，如同吼叫的狮子，遍地游行，寻梢可吞吃的人。
Be sober； be vigilant； because your adversary the devil； as a roaring lion； walketh about； seeking whom he may devour：
5：9你们要用坚固的信心抵挡他，因为知道你们在世上的众弟兄，也是经历这样的苦难。
Whom resist stedfast in the faith； knowing that the same afflictions are acplished in your brethren that are in the world。
5：10那赐诸般恩典的神，曾在基督里召你们，得亨他永远的荣耀，等你们暂受苦难之后，必要亲自成全你们，坚固你们，赐力量给你们。
But the God of all grace； who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus； after that ye have suffered a while； make you perfect； stablish； strengthen； settle you。
5：11愿权能归给他，直到永永远远。阿们。
To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever。 Amen。
5：12我略略的写了这信，托我所看为忠心的兄弟西拉转交你们，劝勉你们，又证明这恩是神的真恩。你们务要在这恩上站立得住。
By Silvanus； a faithful brother unto you； as I suppose； I have written briefly； exhorting； and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand。
5：13在巴比伦与你们同蒙拣选的教会问你们安。我儿子马可也问你们安。
The church that is at Babylon； elected together with you； saluteth you； and so doth Marcus my son。
5：14你们要用爱心彼此亲嘴问安。愿平安归与你们凡在基督里的人。
Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity。 Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus。 Amen。

1：1作耶稣基督仆人和使徒的西门彼得，写信给那因我们的神，和（有古卷无和字）救主耶稣基督之义，与我们同得一样宝贵信心的人。
Simon Peter； a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ； to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ：
1：2愿恩惠平安，因你们认识神和我们主耶稣，多多的加给你们。
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God； and of Jesus our Lord；
1：3神的神能已经将一切关乎生命和虔敬的事赐给我们，皆因我们认识那用自己荣耀和美德召我们的主。
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness； through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue：
1：4因此他已将又宝贵又极大的应许赐给我们，叫我们既脱离世上从情欲来的败坏，就得与神的性情有分。
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises： that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature；
